This course begins with characters that children already love, teaching them to observe the essential elements and stylistic features of cartoon design. Students are then guided to reinterpret and redesign these characters, expand new storylines, and build their own imaginative cartoon worlds.

This course focuses on developing each student’s personal artistic voice. Students will explore artistic themes, materials, and modes of expression, while learning how to curate and document their work. They will also participate regularly in international art competitions, building strong foundations for future academic portfolio requirements.

This course integrates realistic drawing techniques with surreal imagination, encouraging students to push beyond traditional observation. Students will learn to use black, white, and grey to construct compelling visual narratives, transforming sketching into a powerful creative medium.
